The Barbie Saga Continues

Zeldman links on his World Report the ongoing Librarian/Architect/policewoman Barbie saga.

UPDATE 2002.12.13 - Additional information
Here is some more background on our Barbie Drive.

It seems that there is an article entitled Architect Barbie in the Offing? which details our Barbie Drive, but the article attributes the conquest of Architect Barbie over Librarian Barbie to AIA members. No mere professionals could pull off a stunt like this, where the voting could swing over 50% in Architect Barbie's favor. Oh no, you need people with too much time on their hands, up at insane hours of the morning, and access to a great deal of computers. The night of 04 December is when our Barbie Drive went into high gear, and the real action began. Below is a series of screenshots we took after initial tests concluded that our method was working from 20:14 EST to 20:55 EST:

So there you have it, the power of architecture students with an excuse to do something else. Immature, yes. Extremely funny at 3:30 AM, you better believe it! Even now, we restarted the mechanism, and I believe as of 18:00 EST, Architect Barbie has regain her lead.
