SpongeBob SquarePants Gay? Again, who cares!

This is a great show, and people with too much time on their hands are looking for symbols where there probably aren't any. The human mind has a great capacity to post-rationalize anything.

Nickelodeon says SpongeBob is aimed at kids two to 11, and isn't intended to appeal to homosexuals. But it says the show attracts more adults than any other show on its lineup. It's shown episodes as late as 11:30 at night, and Viacom's MTV has run it as late as 11:00, specifically to reach older viewers. According to Nielsen Media Research, about 22% of "SpongeBob's" regular audience is 18 to 49 years old. The show is creating a merchandising bonanza, with SpongeBob paper towels, macaroni-and-cheese dinners and more.

I really didn't like that because it was not true and I still don't like him for that.All I sayin is they need to cut this shit out because little kids watch this show and they really love it(I know I really love it)so don't take away a show that all the babies watch.

Either way, it doesn't matter if a cartoon is gay or not. Would your enjoyment of SpongeBob be different if you know (or thought) he was gay?

He's a CARTOON! Why worry about a sponge on a KIDS show? Im not just saying all of this cause I like Spongebob and this show, but you all are crazy if u think spongebob's gay! get it through your thick skulls, Stephen Hillenburg said Spongebob and them are asexuals. Why would he want his own characters to be gay? and why not worry about the stuff on the Simpsons or on South Park if you're worried your kids might find out about that stuff.

Spongebob's not gay!!! everyone just says that cause they hate him, even if he was gay thats a stupid reason to stop watching the show and shows how everyone here and everywhere else feels disgusted by homosexuals and think their so much better.
