Bush and war [that isn't a war]
Bush said he decided to transfer powers to Cheney out of extra caution because the nation is at war. Cheney will be "standing by - realizing he's not going to be president that long."What a crock of shit. Lets review what the Constitution says:
US Constitution, Article I, Section 8:
To declare war, grant letters of marque and reprisal, and make rules concerning captures on land and water;
To raise and support armies, but no appropriation of money to that use shall be for a longer term than two years;
Hello, we are not at war. My recognized leaders [the House/Senate] have not declared war on terrorism.
Nice try though, when do you come up for re-election and when will this "war" end?
