Martian Water

So it seems that there is a large amount of water on Mars. The BBC in their usual glee of all things scientific, upstaged NASA's planned Thursday announcement of Ice reservoirs on Mars and the world is in an uproar. The possibilities of ice water on Mars brings manned missions closer, because if we lug a large power source - say a Westinghouse Reactor - to the Martian surface, we can start to process that ice water into O2 and H2 for fuel for the return trip and any further trip.
