Rhetoric : There is too much Rehtoric in today's politics

Rhetoric

noun [U]
(disapproving) Rhetoric is also clever and persuasive language which is not sincere or has no real meaning.

Unfortunately in our current situation the two current parties could rise above the current level of bullshit and become statesmen, not politicians. Currently both sides, but especially Republicans are spouting off false accusations. This is neither positive for the parties or for America as a whole.

Get over it. Both of you are the same.

Stalemate : The current election is a stalemate

Stalemate
noun
A situation in which neither group involved in an argument can win or get an advantage and no action can be taken.

The Presidential Race of 2000 could be called a "Stalemate." Neither side wants to give up, and neither can claim victory. Again, Florida plays a pivotal role. Rutherford B. Hayes is looking down on us.

Geek : Someone who is knowledgable in computers is a Geek.

Geek

informal
a person who tends to be disliked because of their stupid appearance or behaviour

How come the media talks about how being a geek is cool. That was a hard time to grow up, when you where a geek and no one would stand up for you.

Slashdot readers know this all to well.
